The 860 uses New Balance’s Trufuse technology, that has been designed to promote the perfect balance of cushioning and support. The upper has also been adjusted with a sleeker and more breathable design that promotes a more secure fit while inside the shoe the Ortholite® Premium insole offers arch support. The lightweight and flexible TPU shank of the T-Beam engineering system also delivers torsional stability and arch support, thanks to its unique design while the ABZORB® crash pad offers more cushioning in the midfoot and provides shock absorption. ACTEVA® midsole adds to this by offering lightweight cushioning that is 12% lighter than standard foam.
