We use Royal Mail to deliver your goods. Customers will have the choice of selecting between Standard Delivery and Next Day Delivery. Standard Delivery uses Royal Mail's 2-3 Day Tracked service. Next Day is guaranteed delivery by 1pm the next day Monday to Thursday. Any orders placed on Friday before 4pm will be delivered on Monday but after 4pm will be Tuesday.
Please note the Delivery Note option is only available for Standard Delivery services for items under £40.00. The Delivery Note option will not apply to items over £40.00 or Next Day Delivery orders.
CHRISTMAS EXTENDED RETURNS
We’ve extended our usual limit for returns. Any purchases made online or in store between 12 October and 24 December 2023 can be returned up until 28 January 2024. For purchases made from 25 December onwards, our normal refund policy will apply.
CLICK & COLLECT SERVICE
You can order online and collect your purchase from the store during store opening hours at a convenient time for you. By selecting click and collect as a shipping option your order will be bagged and held for you at store. Simply turn up during opening hours with a copy of your order confirmation email (on your phone or a paper copy will be accepted).

Royal Mail is used for delivery to the destination country. It is then handed over to that country's national postal service and its associated partners. In most cases we will use the Royal Mail's Air Sure Service so we are able to track the parcel for the entire duration of the delivery. If the destination country does not support this then Royal Mail's International Signed For will be used.
The Running Outlet does not take responsibility, nor is it liable to pay for any customs or import duties levied by the government of the destination country. These costs are borne by the customer. By placing an order on our website the customer acknowledges they accept liability for any charges applied by their government.
We are unable to predict the value of any charges levied by any government. Customs policies vary widely from country to country and are subject to change. We advise that before purchase each customer should contact their local customs office for further information on any import taxes or charges that may be applied.
The Running Outlet will charge the customer accordingly for any charges incurred as a result of the recipient's refusal to pay the applicable charges levied by Customs.
The Running Outlet will take payment in Pound Sterling; any conversion shown on the website to USD or Euro is purely an approximate value calculated at that day’s exchange rate. Your bank or card issuer may not offer the same rate and so The Running Outlet will not be liable for any further charges.
Click and Collect
For our local customers we have introduced a Click and Collect service. This allows you to purchase anything from the website and collect it in store at your own convenience, no need for queuing at the till. Your order will be bagged and ready for collection within 30 minutes of purchase. Please proof of purchase (email confirmation on phone or paper) or ID.
This service will be available during store opening hours.

We would advise ordering no later than 30 mins before we shut to ensure that you can collect your item. However, please contact us if there is an issue and we will try to help.
We want you to receive your order as quickly as possible. If your order is placed before 3pm Monday – Friday, we will endeavour to dispatch it the same day (excluding Bank Holidays). Weekend orders will be processed but not dispatched until Monday morning. Occasionally part of an order maybe dispatched separately with a slight delay. There will be no extra postage charge for the customer in this situation and the customer will be informed of the delay with the option for an alternative product or part refund.
All orders over the value of £49.99 will be dispatched with a tracking code which will be provided on request. Orders can be tracked on Royal Mail's Track and Trace website. Orders under £49.99 will be sent via Royal Mail 48 hour service and does not include a tracking code.
Delivery & Billing Address
Customers have the choice of a delivery address separate from the billing address, i.e. Work. We do request that your billing address matches the address details for your registered card; otherwise payment won’t pass our checkout security checks. For International orders choosing a different delivery address may result in a request for a proof of identity (copy of passport or driving licence). The order will be held until proof of ID is provided.
Delay In Dispatch
On very rare occasions that we may be out of stock of your item, there may be a slight delay of up to 2-4 working days. If however the delay is longer then we will contact you to ensure you are happy to wait. In this situation a refund will be applied if the customer wishes to cancel the order.
My Item Hasn't Arrived?
There can be a few reasons as to why you've not received your order. Firstly, please check the tracking information that has been provided on the Royal Mail Track and Trace website. This will give you the latest delivery information. Occasionally orders can take a little longer than usual, we ask to allow up to 7 working days for UK delivery and 28 working days for international.
Delivery may have already been attempted in which case you should have received a card stating where your package is or that it needs to be collected from your local Post Office.
Orders very rarely get lost in the postal system. If this does happen we need for you to wait 28 days before we can claim. Usually the package will turn up within time or is returned to us. We will then contact you to re-arrange delivery or refund the cost of the item.
