More release grooves in the midsole promote extra adaptability on rough terrain and trailtack rubber outsole provides wet/dry traction in the toughest conditions. Its sturdy support, traction and cushioning make it a winner for logging off-road miles.  A streamlined design and updated outsole shaves weight, while improved flexibility helps you move naturally over mixed terrain while the Pivot Post system works like a stabilizing suspension system, connecting with uneven ground underfoot to keep your foot level from landing to push-off. Your feet stay dry thanks to a new lightweight GORE-TEX® Invisible Fit membrane that’s bonded directly to the upper for a lighter, more flexible fit.This model has the new DNA LOFT v2 midsole makes the Cascadia 16 cushioning 5% softer and 20% lighter than the Cascadia 15.
