adidas Running Shoes

Adidas have always been one of the great innovators when it comes to running shoes. The technologies it has developed in all its sports makes it one of the most successful manufacturers in the world.  In 2013 it developed the new boost material that has a far superior shock absorbency than almost any other technology currently, using foam capsules that contract and expand on impact for better energy return. This new foam has been so successful that it is replacing Adiprene, a foam based material, as the main technology in adidas running shoes, and will eventually feature in all ranges.  Formotion at the heel helps absorb shock and guide your foot into a more natural ride, this is great for heel strikers as it guides the foot into a neutral stance from the outside of the heel.  In the Supernova and Adistar ranges, adidas team up with Continental, using its rubber for an outsole of superb grip whether you’re running on wet concrete or through bogging trails.  If you over-pronate, adidas stability shoes use their Pro-Moderator to give additional support under the arch.  All adidas shoes are made to fit Mi Coach chips which enables you to take your training to the next level with your own built-in personal fitness instructor.  When it comes to race day, adidas have a fantastic range of extremely lightweight shoes, including the adizero adios which was worn by Kipsang when he broke the marathon world record in 2013.  We usually recommend going up half a size when wearing an adidas shoe, unless it has Tech-fit, a seamless and stretchy mesh upper that wraps around any foot shape like a sock for a more comfortable fit.
