When choosing clothing, one of the most important factors, as well as selecting the correct fabrics and features, is to be seen, and not in the name of vanity, but safety. Most clothing has reflective details but for running in restricted light, ie dusk, dawn, night and winter weather conditions, high visibility items are essential. As well as being brightly coloured they also have reflective tape for 360 degree visibility. When running in the middle of winter a hi-viz jacket is extremely important as it will keep you warm, dry and visible. For milder conditions, half zip and long sleeve tops are also available and if you're working to a budget, a wide range of hats, headbands, gloves, bibs and reflective armbands will also help increase your visibility.
