Supporting you for twenty years, the Nike Air Zoom Structure, with its Zoom cushioning, remains a popular choice. It's suitable for everyday training and as well as being a great looking shoe, it has been built to slow down the rate at which your foot pronates and with its new wider base, helps to promote a faster and much improved performance. This is mainly achieved through the Dynamic Fit technology helping to ensure a smoother transition and the triple layer foam offering all the support you need. Despite all the support and cushioning it still manages to remain as light as a feather. Flywire technology has been updated and along with the Flymesh upper provide support and a glove like fit for your foot.
- Mesh inner sleeve provides breathability and a sock-like fit
- Nike Zoom Air unit in the forefoot for low-profile, responsive cushioning
- OrthoLite ® sockliner enhances responsive cushioning

- Flywire cables integrate with the laces for additional lockdown
- Deep flex grooves provide flexibility for smooth transitions
- Weight: 308 grams approx. (women's size 6)

Stability shoes are designed for runners who overpronate, the majority of runners fall into this category. The initial impact will always be towards the outside of the foot. It then roll inwards to help absorb shock. As it rotates or pronates inwards, it continues beyond the neutral point usually due to having a low arch or flat feet. As the arch collapses, your foot then leans inwards, causing the rest of your lower body to be out of alignment. This can lead to pain in your ankles, shins, knees, hips and back.
The support in a Stability shoe is positioned underneath the arch on the medial side and is usually a harder, darker coloured foam compared to the rest of the midsole. This helps to offer resistance against your arch collapsing and therefore holding you in a better aligned, neutral position. Finding a shoe that supports you correctly is the tricky bit, we would always advise getting your gait properly tested, but if you would like more advice on how to self diagnose whether you need a stability shoe please visit our Gait Analysis page or send us a question.
