Product Features

You can not do enough to ensure you are seen during the long winter months of running in the dark or even on dull, grey days.  The Photon sock comes in fluorescent colours and has a reflective band for a little extra visibility between your running shoes and your tights.  They also offer cushioning to make your run a more comfortable one and are made from high wicking fabrics to help draw sweat and moisture away from the skin and keep your feet dry.  Strategically placed panels give added breathability to add to this and they are around the arch and have a 'Y' shaped heel for a much more secure fit.

Features:

  • Mid-level cushioning
  • Fluorescent colour & reflective band for night time visibility
  • High wicking Coolmax performance
  • Ventflex panels for improved breathability
  • Arch grip and ‘Y’ heel for optimum fit
Running socks have come a long way in design and the wearing the correct socks is just as important as finding the right shoe.Women's sizes start from UK 3 - 8 and Men's sizes are available from UK 6 - 14 and in several styles. Trainer liners stop before the ankle and are ideal for summer or in the gym whilst anklets offer a bit more coverage. To help in the prevention of blisters, many socks have two layers. The inner layer stays with the foot whilst the outer layer moves with the running shoe, preventing friction on the skin. Using a mixture of lightweight materials ensures moisture management to keep feet dry and some have a ventilation mesh to help keep the foot cool. The construction of the running sock can offer support and cushioning where needed, with some designed specifically for the left or right foot. Compression socks are also useful in aiding post run recovery. Sizes may vary according to brands, and some socks are unisex. We suggest that you check your size with our relevant size guides.

Hilly Sock Size Chart

Choosing the right size is important. The right fit can help avoid blistering and allow for a more comfortable running experience.
We recommend that when buying your socks, you take your normal shoe size.
If you find that you're borderline between sizes, we'd advise that you take the larger size to avoid overstretching the sock and potentially damaging or mishaping it.
When wearing a thicker sock, you should consider that this will fill the shoe more and may affect the sizing you require (of the shoe).
Finally, different sock lengths can be considered based on personal preference and climate/environment.
Size range for Hilly Socks in UK and European sizes.
