A.R.E.A.S Hover Tex Social Mask – Black

A.R.E.A.S (Academy for Research and Engineering in Apparel and Sport) has created a light and moisture-repellent social mask* using Hover-Tex.

To use:

1. Wash your hands (for 20 seconds) before putting on the mask
2. Pick up the mask by the straps and place it over your mouth and nose. The arrow must be on the inside and pointing upwards.
3. Attach the straps behind your ears.
4. Pull the mask into position. It must sit well over the nose and close off under the chin.
5. Do not touch the mask with your hands while wearing it and be sure to maintain a distance of at least 1.5+ metres from other people even when wearing the mask.
6. Wash your hands (for 20 seconds) before taking off the mask.
7. Remove the mask from your face by using the straps at the sides (from back to front), but do not touch the mask.
8. Place the mask in a dedicated pouch or plastic bag right away. Other people should not come into contact with the mask one it has been worn.
9. After removing the mask wash your hands again (for 20 seconds).
10. After wearing wash the mask at 60°c. Only then it can be re-used. Wash with sanitising detergent.

XS size is suitable for most children

*The social Mask is NOT a medical product and does not provide protection from infection. It acts as a barrier that reduces the risk of infecting others because it can shorten the range of droplets that are ejected when people cough, sneeze and speak.
