Running shorts come in a wide range of styles and lengths depending on the type of running they are required for. The most common lengths are 5inch and 7inch and they go from tight to baggy, but all are made with breathable and moisture management materials for ultimate comfort. You will find race shorts are made from lighter materials and cut to offer more ventilation where needed. Split shorts come slightly shorter with a 3inch seam, more commonly worn by the more serious runner. Trail shorts tend to have more pockets for storing small items such as gels. Tight shorts offer soft support to the hamstrings but, for more coverage, 2 in 1 shorts have a built in compression like short for support under a lighter outer short.
