Ronhill
In 1970 Ron Hill was the first ever British man to win the Boston Marathon, he also struck gold at the Commonwealth Games as well as competing at two Olympic marathons. He completed 115 marathons throughout his running career.
In September 1970 Ron Hill set up the Ronhill Sports company, which has pioneered various products including wrap-over shorts, mesh vests, waterproof running jackets and reflective strips. It was actually the first company to develop high visibility clothing, of which the more current lines are always stocked at The Running Outlet.
