Stay Hydrated

It's important to stay hydrated before, during and after your runs. Not taking enough fluids can impact your performance and can lead to cramp. Re-hydrating after a run also helps to repair muscles. For runs up to 45 minutes, fluid, energy gels or sports drinks are not usually required, however during long runs, hotter weather or intense training sessions, you will need to take on water. It may be a personal choice to carry a waterbottle, hydration belt or even place a waterbottle on route of your run.
